My choice for the week is

Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone

Yes, I realize this is a cliché answer, but I think everyone should read Harry Potter at a moment in their lives.

National Book Lovers Day
"Choose a book you think every book lover should read."

My choice for the week is

Harry Potter
by J.K. Rowling

To be more specific - I chose my favorite book in the series
Harry Potter & the Globet of Fire

I didn't grow up obsessing over Harry Potter like most people.

I discovered these books pretty late, but I was in awe of the world J.K. Rowling created, so, yeah, every book lover should read all of the books in the series.

HP & TGOF is my favorite because it's when I see a big difference between the kids they used to be and the teens they're turning into.

 15th Anniversary Edition

 Italian | German (Audio-CD) | Danish

In fact, I'm surprised at the amount of horrible HP covers. These three are just a few of the examples.

This week's theme is: Favorite Books Outside Your Comfort Zone.

#1 - Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
Middle Grade Fantasy

I hardly ever read middle grade, but Harry Potter is life.
It's beyond age category. It's more than just a book.

#2 - Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
Adult Mystery/Thriller

Gillian Flynn is one of my favorite writers ever. She's brilliant and she reads adult mystery and thriller like few others. Gone Girl is her best work, in my opinion.

#3 - Zoo Station: The Story of Christiane F.
Nonfiction - Biography

Powerful. Intense. Depressingly real. A must read.

#4 - Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini

Historical Fiction

Khaled Hosseini almost manages to make me feel, and Kite Runner is painfully authentic.

# 5 - The Thorn Birds by Colleen McCullough

Historical Fiction/Romance

A beautifully written story about life with rich scenery and complex characters.

So, what do you think about these choices? Have you read any of them? Share you opinion bellow.
